Lisa. What a treat to discover your blog. I am not nearly as popular-artist-Christmas-music savvy as you are. Check out how hip you are! What needs to happen for us to get a copy of this harper holiday mix extravaganza?? I am not above begging.
ReplyDeleteI think MY vote has to be "Ding fries are done!" I can't believe this didn't make your list!
ReplyDeleteI have to say Ry, that song is humorous, but we both can admit to being stupider after listening to it (and having it play over and over and over in our heads for days on end because it's such a catchy tune!).
ReplyDeleteI too love Christmas songs.....and that Barenaked Ladies CD is a favorite at our house! Now I am off to itunes to see if they have the sting one! :)
ReplyDeleteThe benefits of techno boys never end, do they? And to think I had never considered that as a benefit of his major. One of our stupidest favorites is Jezebel the Cow from a tape we had when I was younger. It was a cow themed one, (given to us because my dad is an animal nutritionist and is always gifted with all things cow) and is set to the tune of Jingle Bells. If I find a link to it anymore, I'll send it along.
ReplyDeleteKathleen shared this compilation with me, and I have to say, it's the real deal. We loved it this Christmas, and look forward to making one of our own to share with the harpers and other friends/relatives in the years to come.
