Tonight we had a silly hat dinner... a tradition that used to happen with much more frequency than it has lately... it all started because I'm a sucker for a bargain, so when I saw lots of funny looking hats (that we'd never wear for any other reason than to be silly) for mere pennies, I couldn't resist. I was thrilled to come home from work today and find that Ryan and the kids had planned a silly-hat-breakfast-for-dinner event!

What a cute idea!! I'm sure my girls would be all over that one! We just usually go around at dinner and say what our favorite part of the day was. Not nearly as cool as those hats, though. :)
silly traditions? no. But I think I'll start interpreting that phrase more and more for my little family.
you're cute. I love the mom in you.
you mentioned the help is on your bookclub list? do you have any others you're looking forward to? I'm always on the lookout for a good read.
You guys are such creative, fun parents. Things like this would never occur to me.
